Jnc 26 - a day to remember!Well after finally managing to drag myself out of bed, I have a few pictures uploaded!
Due to circumstanes my wedding date unfortunately got postponed to June 2nd. This caused two problems:
1. Most of the guests could not make it.
2. It clashed with Jnc 26.
However after the ceremony my new wife, Olga, looked romantically deep in to my eyes and said:
'Do anything you want with me'
So I took her to the Junction 26 steam fair!!!
Here we are upon arrival - of course hardly anyone recognised me!
So after a little look around we ditched the disguise:
There was the traditional cutting of the cake:
Although by that time most people had gorged themselves on flapjack (including myself i have to say!) so it was a little difficult squeezing more food in!
"But darling, when you said we would do something steamy together, I thought you meant something else!!!"
Olga, posing with the tunnel which I think she has done a wonderful job of painting:
Quote of the day from Pete:
'Some people will do anything to get on the forum DVD!!!"
A wonderful day all round, and many thanks for all the well wishers - it really made the day special.

Congratulations, Ian and Olga!
Many thanks for sharing your special day with all of us here!
Rog is most definitely correct. A woman who is content to spend her wedding day attending a steam fair is a person of quite incredible empathy and understanding. You are indeed a lucky man, Ian!

She is too! Many thanks for all your well wishes!
We met under extraodinary circumstances - you remember a couple of years ago that Volcano erupted and brought all air traffic to a stand? Well I was on holiday in Egypt at the time, and got transferred to a different hotel to wait it out, where I met Olga!
So if that volcano had not erupted our paths would not have crossed!
Now if that was not fate at work I do not know what is!

Congratulations and best wishes. Who would have thought any good would come from a volcanic eruption!
