SP1: Tidy little engine, best of the 3 condition wise, firebox VNM, base VNM, smokestack VNM but missing burner and flywheel has snapped the end bit off. SE2a: Man! This engine is a dog! New safety valve, mechanically sound, engine frame painted silver, base good, firebox needs respraying, pipers need unsoldering from chimney, to be sold on sunday. D16: Nice engine, no saety valve, missing burner, missing little weight off whistle, missing water collecting tray, paint pretty poor, mechanically sound, and I can make this into a nice engine, lots of potential. Spares: All of this came from our friend Chas: 2 bottles of lube oil, 2 boxes of Esbit, 1 box Mamod tablets, 1 roll of brass wire (?) 1 60ml syringe 2 10ml syringes 3 unjoined drive bands 1 new solid fuel burner 1 used solid fuel burner 3 new safety valves 1 homemade burner 1 new water plug 1 new brass insert collar Washers and seals, 1 bag of Brasso wadding (?) from Chas So overall not a bad buy

Thats steam oil Jimbo! Its thicker than normal and "sticks" around in the cylinders for longer! Will help your loco run! |

I got gallons of tractor oil, I'll use that And there is some I pinched from the oil can from the lincs life museum on the Marshall portable "Harriet"
