Just this one: Dampfzauberer's STWWW-ProjectHi all,
I have been busy all week and all weekend.
I only have time now to "make" my one and only steam table, made in the maritime shed.
Forgive me not taking part in the other sheds, but there was really no time
Will try and post some pictures of "what is new" in the next days (hopefully!)
This now is something very special i only made for the STWWW!
Specially for the "maritime" sector...
Will not tell anything about the engine for now.
Just watch the video closely and guess of what parts it consists
Enjoy!

That's quite an invention Mirko, and it certainly runs well!

It certainly runs a treat Mirko.
I'm no good at identifying engine parts, but how about a Mamod base for starters??
I'll leave the rest to the experts.

Some Wilesco parts?

Wilesco boiler?
Mamod Minor 2 base, firebox and chimney?
Wilesco cylinder?
Mamod flywheel?
Haven't a clue about the engine frame
Whatever - it's brilliant

Okay, will reveal for now as i have to go to sleep now and dn't know if i still can edit this tomorrow
Wilesco D10: boiler and fittings
Wilesco D455: engine unit, pipework and ladder
Mamod minor 2: base, burner, firebox and chimney-part
All those engines i had were parts only, non-runners on their own.
So i decided to put them all together and make a good working engine.
The intention of this all was to build a powerfull engine, double acting...with all the safety details like water gauge, SV and whistle etc...
But still not being bigger than a MM2 base!
Place was tight but it did work!
BTW the funny gadget on the cylinders side used to be a broken whistle (only teh valve and a bell were present)
I solder it up and made a cut-off cup oiler for the engine.
Easier oiling when the engine is built into a boat etc.
The Wilesco boiler used to be the type with two SV's on it.
The last port on the boiler is now the chimney.
Inside there is a stainless steel bolt that fits exactly into the bushing and keeps the chimney in place.
That's all so far.
I hope you like it

For a 'Frankenstein' it certainly looks good.

Brilliant Mirko...I believe that will cause any boat to get up and go with vigor!
Very clever blending of parts, I especially liked the oiler setup.
thanks,
