Large (M8) washers for German steam engines SORTEDLooking of M8 washers for my large German engines (for whistles, filler caps, etc.).
I can find all sizes up to M6, but the larger M8 size seems to be rare.
Any Ideas where I can fine some please?

Thanks Moose. Very kind of you, but it's not the metal ones I need.
They're to go between the whistle or filler cap and the boiler. Not sure what the material should be. Probably leather.

Thanks Dennis and Moose, and yes John, I think that would be my best bet, although for the old engines, I think I will try to find some old leather and get some hole cutters.
Don't think they had non-stick frying pans at the turn of the century.

I have some that I was trying to convert for use with Bowman safety valves, but to be honest their price probably beats mine when you consider postage.
