Hopefully it runs well. MTA has one the same and it looks to run very well from what's he's said!
Will take some running in though! looks hardly used!

That brings back memories GJ... of what mine used to look like Mine does run very well, although mine has had upgraded cylinders and black wheelsets since bought (second hand) which might lead to Victor's improved running

Come to think of it, looking at GJ's, mine has the main body of the cylinder painted black! Just thinking, do the other MSS locos have them?

Our mss queen elizabeth jubilee aka lizzie has black cylinders as well and runs beter than the mamod sl2 aka charly

That could just be a coincidence rather than the upgraded cylinders

If you study the MSS cylinder, you'll notice that the cap on the cylinder that faces towards the cab is of a diffrent shape to the mamod one!
Nice loco G-J, I like the coal load in the tender.

If you want a Roundhouse buy direct from them as it will be cheaper and they give great customer service and they are very well made.
