Loco trackI am looking to get this track lot. But I am not sure if it'll work for my Sl3. Anyone know anything about these tracks?

Looks to be O27 IMHO you might be better off with more modern stuff.
this might be better

Just straight track here

If it is O27 you want I might have some you can have, but expect frequent derailments and forget about running some cars and Locos as the flanges will be too deep.
Note the difference between the height of Standard O gauge and O27
Best to spend on what really works the best instead of buying something that just gets put in a box.

Ya nailed it John..great post....informative and the pic says it all......
Looks like my 027 track won't be seeing any Live Steamers.....drat......That means i would just need to buy a mamod starter set.........

Standard O gauge Lionel is a lot less expensive than regular Mamod track.

I'm pretty sure i have the shallow 027 ....Its Lionel brand, brown ties, I have like 36 or 48 inch one piece straights, all brown ties.....regular curves..I run my Marx 666 Steam freight Set On it.....makes about 8 ft oval or so....
Yea ....Satan had a train... ...Or Mr. Louis Marx was a funny guy...
