London Model Engineering Exhibition picsHi all,
I went to the London ME Exhibition at Alexandra Palace on Friday and here are some pics, hope you like. Don't know if anyone else from the Forum was going.
Hornby 20V AC 0 gauge
Some great Meccano
5" gauge O.S. Rocket
A couple of Minnies
Nice Wilesco. This belong to anyone here?
SM32
G Scale
Hornby OO gauge steam
Gauge 1
ST beam engine
A couple for the boat people
Flash steam (turbine!) hydroplane
I gather there are a few tank fans out there so here is a short video clip of, I believe, a Tiger. It is 1/6th scale and uses 24V and 2 x 280W (I think) motors. It was pretty impressive. Even the crew are operational!

Hi
Nice pictures, we took the decision and went up there yesterday, some great models on display, I was quite impressed the Tamiya Trucks display, although their prices are eye watering.
Not sure if you saw the Fowler BB1 on the rotating stand but along with a lot of other items it was a lovely bit of engineering. In all a nice day out.

The info with it said that it is an uncompleted project and it is actually for sale. Thought to be the only flash steam turbine tethered hydro in existence. Anyone fancy completing it? I would certainly love to see (and hear) it run.

Yes saw the Fowler it had quite a crowd around it. Meant to go back to get a photo but unfortunately didn't make it.
