Here is marvin pulling all the trucks that we own
took this vid this afternoon

Great video Graham.
I like the prototypical speed achieved. Wonder how many more wagons Marvin could pull before stalling out.

thanks Chris
If any one would love to donate some carriages we would love to find out
Les Marsh
Very good, thanks for sharing it with us.
CCairns
You missed your opportunity when I was in the kitchen making the tea!
Currently I get some incredible wheel spinning with the SL1K running as a 0-2-2T but will not pull much. Once I've got some more of those hard to find e-clips I hope it will improve.
Graham-Jilly
I need a couple of those clips also will do some looking this end
johnreid
Great Video as usual, I do think that your railway looks like a lot of fun.
CCairns
Dream Steam is going to stock those e-clips at some point.
For just now I've used the e-clips from a connecting rod set I bought from Dream Steam to couple up my IPS Janet rebuild as an 0-4-0T. The connecting rod set is for a wheel-less SL3 that I'm repairing slowly. My SL1K is still running as a 0-2-2T until tomorrow night as I need one to take to the Merstham Steam Rally tomorrow. If I find any then I'll get as many as possible, and could then send you some.

thanks Chris
John yes it is great fun need to build some building as well and finish the mountain
pauly
thats briliant, nothing sounds better than a steam engine working hard.
Les Marsh
That was great, and you can certainly tell when Marvin had to work that bit harder.

Crackin` video... Super soundtrack!
Marvin`s certainly working hard.....
Graham-Jilly
thanks Les and David
also did a vid this afternoon. wind was blowing making it hard to keep the steem up then a large thunderstorm hit and flooded the track
Stilldrillin
Another super video!
Looks as though Marvin`s sulking...... "Don`t wanna play"!

Wow your layout has come on a bit since I last saw it. Nice job there.
I can see the appeal, anyone want to volunteer and come and build one in my garden?
pauly
what would be in it for me

A few beers and sandwiches?

There's something about a little mamod loco working hard and pulling a train load of wagons that always makes me smile.
Great videos!
bessytractor
wow that first video was most impressive! Every chuff loud and clear and the nice scale speed! Brilliant!
pauly
WOW not even R/C

I want your Garden railway
Do you reckon I'd be able to get it through customs? I may look rather suspicious as it would have to be a rather large coat to hide it under...
Steve_S
Great videos. Your railway is getting to be very impressive!

That is really cool. I love the ride. My wife watched both of the videos, and said "you need one of those in the back yard." Even tho I have NO idea how to go about it, I figure a simple circuit around the level part of the yard. But I know nothing about this side of things. Last trains I ran outside were my "G" scale stuff. Would that be the same size as the 32mm Mamod? Or is that closer to "O" guage?
I know so little about this.
