Looks like a Bowman engine, what about the hull?Picked this one up on ebay recently. On the way to Scotland right now but i'm in Germany. It looks like a Bowman engine, Is the hull made up or a production model? Does anyone know anything about this one?! Sorry for photos, they were the ones from the listing. I have to say i like the look of the engine and think it will be a nice project! The dimensions of the hull are 900mm long, 150mm beam, 180mm height.

Looks like a cleverly adapted M122 engine. Interesting vessel!

That would go like the clappers with a 122 engine. That's a great project!!

The photos don't really give that much away. Can i assume that this is a home modified bowman engine rather than one that was produced? I remember seeing a picture of a bowman tug like thing. Perhaps i could go with finishing it of in that sort of fashion.

I think its home-modified, unless anyone knows different. It looks like it's been well done though. There's no real need for the cylinder covers to be fitted... oiling and maintenance would be much easier without them, and several Bowman owners would probably give you a good price for them!

It is definitely a modified 122 and the boat looks good so I would love to see it finished and running.

I just read this thread Duncan.....LOVE IT!!! We need you rebuilding this one towater tests in the launch section!! I love the nicely adapted Bowman twin..
I have been trying to figure how to do that with a SEl major. I suck at the gearing aspect...
