Lost, One Dragon... no reward offeredI've been dropping in on Pendragon's site once in a while, just to make sure our recent copyright discussions was taken to heart. Today I popped in and, to my surprise, his site is inactive. It could be that he's between designers or having tecnical problems, but I've even knocked on a back door or two and no one seems to be at home around the old cave.
I'll be interested to see if it's only a temporary situation or if someone slew the dragon.

Thats a terrible shame Steve, I'm sure the whole toys steam community will morn the loss.
Unfortunately he is still very much alive and well on ebay.

Funny you mention that Cedge. Just last night I was clearing out my favourites, and went to his original site he set up. Well I think it was his original one, as he did change.
It seemed to be spares only? There was a Jensen boiler, and something else, that's all.
I just found both on the Members website board, and neither are working now
The one I checked, with spares, has literally gone down in the past 18hrs

One of them worked last night for me, don't know which one though.

He's still on ebay and seems to be fine. Currently got nearly 40 lots running including some nice early German engines.

the dragonsorry to the 'very few' that liked my site, but i have been forced to close it .someone kept buying everything and just putting a series of numbers in the checkout field, resulting in my having to pay each time they did it for 'checkout duties'.it has cost me over £30.00 in april alone!.all i can say about the person/s is they left a message each time "the forum strikes again'.i cant keep paying each time someone 'has a laugh' at my expense.i have also, recently had my workshop broken into.the offender must have known what they were doing,as the took all of my wheeled models including my rare weeden ones and most of my 40 plus stationary empire collection.so i am resigned,at present, to spend my time working on my new 100kg traction engine.you may be also pleased to know,i am closing my e bay shop etc as due to the break in ,i have more bits than complete engines.so,although it has not been your pleasure to 'watch' me.it has been mine to enjoy the hobby and the forum.i will still be staying a member of this forum, and may well start to enter in discussions/post pictures of my traction engine on the site.thankyou to all the members that e mailed me with positive thoughts about my site.john

I, for one, do not consider your victimization to be any cause for jubilation. I would hate to believe forum members are capable of acting in that low a fashion.... but I also don't doubt your words.
The adding of salt to already open wounds with the loss of your engines by theft has to be pretty devastating. I can only imagine the terrible sense of violation that would cause. I hope you are able to recover them.
Best

I am sorry to hear someone was deliberately sabotaging your website.
This forum does NOT support this type of activity.
Regardless of how many of us feel about your activities I think most of us would agree that is not acceptable.
I will discuss this with other mods and Admins but I think it would be a fair bet that should anyone continue to do activities like this and we can identify them action will be taken against them as it brings a bad name to this forum.
