Luton Bowman "Snipe"The snipe arrived yesterday and I am seriously pleased with it. It is in fantastic, original, condition and will be taking pride of place in my collection. I haven't steamed it as yet but I will be having a play very soon. I must also make a display stand for it.
I took some photos this morning so here they are -
There is a beautifully well preserved decal on the stern -
Apart from a small hole in the lid the box is in great shape
There is even a leaflet inviting me to join the Bowman Club, I wonder if they are still going 
Am I delighted - you bet

... are you going to run her? You could put in a tiny servo, battery and receiver for the rudder. All attched to the hull with double-sided tape, of course as not to alter anything on the vessel. Imagine her gliding chuff, chuff, chuff over a pond!
