Luton PW201 slotted burner litSteve asked for a picture of a slotted burner lit so here is one.
Sorry about poor quality of photo as I had to turn off the flash so you could see the flame and I forgot to get my tripod out but you get the general idea.
It is harder to light than a wicked burner but as I use a mini butane blow torch to light everything it did the preheating quiet quickly. Took about 5 to 10 seconds to get fully lit. I could see people getting burnt finger lighting this with matches.
Burns very well, no chance of the flame flaring up too big, I do like this type of burner.

Thanks for the picture... that's quite a flame! It's an interesting design choice they made...it's obviously very effective, and Odilon says its almost soot free, but as you say, hard to light.
