Main line steam - The Cathedrals Express - 01/06/08I learned a while ago that there was a steam tour passing through my neck of the woods. When I heard what locos were hauling the train, I knew that I had to do the un-thinkable and get out of bed before 10:00am on a Sunday.

Does anyone know whats happening in York, there's plans to get three A4's together for a gala event but I can't find the details.
I know the NYMR had a similar event last year, that would be really something to see. I really like Yorkshire and the North York Moors, lovely part of the world.

Appropriately enough, I've just finished watching your video whilst wearing my 6233 Royal Train Polo Shirt. Thanks for posting it.
Some nice sounding action of the Duchess working well, although the flat wheel further back down the train spoils the sound a little.
And will we ever see a streamlined Coronation running in steam on the mainline again?
