Mainline steamMakes my day to see steam on the mainline so i was up bright and early on saturday to see The St Nicholas Fayre Excursion come through chesterfield. Hauled by GWR hall class Rood Ashton Hallshe was on her way to york. 
I also was at the station late to get her coming home and she was a cracker of a sight

Cool, there is still some special mainline Steam excursions in the western US, but noe on the eastern half anymore 
So nice to see that they still do it some elsewhere. Thanks for sharing. |
