Making the SE4 do some workDecided to see if the SE4 can actually do some work! Yes it can quite easily . I tightened the trunion nuts this time so it doesn't leak steam from the port faces anymore .
Here are some pics:

Nice one MM, certainly running a treat now. The burner looks great.
I see you have the trusty plier's in camera shot

MM...that was a great site and sound...you have that SE4 just purring along now, looking quite steam tight and handsome with your burner.
thanks for pulling it all together for the video.

Lovely stuff. Think it needs more of a challenge though!
Think your punch tool thingy needs a spring.

It has one... I had to chop it down because it was too tough to run kept stopping my workshop when it was the meccano one. I may stretch it a bit more, or replace
Don't forget, it's running off the countershaft too, so that's generally slower speed. The band was too thick for the flywheel . I'll try and get a longer thinner band and add more tools

Looks great mm! I realy love to see that engine spinning around. I think it's capable of driving a even bigger workshop

I will swap you mine for the SE4
Oh, wait, that way you still couldn't run them alongside

The SE4 made that look effortless and no steam leaks in sight this time.
I must run something off some of my engines, more spending needed

Great video MM.
Fun to watch.
That would have to give out more power than a SE3, does it?

Not sure if its more powerful than the SE3 Considering it was running of the countershaft with no effort needed it must have a bit of power in it Flywheel is a lot heavier aswell!
