Mamod loco dimensions

Thinking of using some new "off the shelf" Mamod loco parts for use in a couple of other loco rebuild projects (non-Mamods). But before I buy the bits I'd be most grateful if someone could supply a few dimensions:

Boiler diameter

Width of smokebox, also height from top of boiler to bottom of smokebox

Side tank dimensions (LxWxH)

Cab dimensions

Many thanks!

I will try to do those measurments tomorrow, the New Loco is the only one within reach and it is different soze than the SL series and MSS Locos.

Thanks for that John. I was thinking of using the bits (sidetanks, smokebox etc) as sold by Dream Steam for the original Mamods so I guess I'll need the measurements from an older loco as opposed to the newer one.

I've got a set of unpainted sidetanks, cab roof, cab front and back if you're interested too.

Surplus to requirements as my other loco will have a scratchbuilt saddletank, cab, bunkers etc and look like this (well ok a little bit like this):

Thanks for the offer Alan but I still don't have the answers to my original question regarding the tank and boiler dimensions. Until then I'm not sure if the Mamod bits will work or not. So if anyone could help out I'd be most grateful! Another question, does the smokebox have a hole on the back for the boiler to slide into? If so what is the diameter of this hole?

The smokebox is just as you described and thus makes it difficult to measure the boiler. Mine is of riveted construction so I cant take it apart to measure. Maybe someone has an unassembled kit one that would be easier to measure. I am sorry that I was of no further help.

Mine is running so good that I am going to stick to the addage, if it aint broke, dont fix it, so I am not going to take it apart

The boiler barrel  is 1 1/2" diameter and 4 7/8" in length, when the boiler is fitted the end 1/4" of the boiler barrel fits into the smokebox.
