I'm uploading the video now, but, thanks to xlchainsaw and his impeccable burner making skills, this baby gathered enough steam while I was getting a paper towel, that when I got back and spun the flywheel, it took off! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=di...EAF332&index=0&playnext=1

Hey GUTMACH, where in Az are you located? Phoenix?

Rob, I am in the Tucson area.
There is a strong possibility that my wife and I will be in the Chandler area this Saturday for a get-together with my wife's cousin. We are also going to drop by Roy's Train World in Mesa (http://www.roystrainworld.com/) to do a little shopping for more stuff for the On30 Christmas layout (and if I remember correctly, there are some Wilesco stuff as well).
It really depends upon what that hurricane does after it passes Cabo San Lucas. As of tonight, it is forecast to affect the Tucson area around Saturday. Not as a hurricane, of course, but as a strong tropical storm.
Page is a nice area, are you employed by the Dam ?

Ah, my wife's family is from Tucson! We like it down in that area too, but try to avoid Phoenix for the most part (though Ray's is a good stop).
I worked as a tour guide out at the dam this summer, but I actually work as a science teacher in the middle school up here.

its good to see mm1 going! you can tame it down by powering a workshop??? they do a great job of it! the vapour burners are powerful...maybe a bit too powerful!

My MM1s will power an eight tool workshop so they are nice and powerful.

actually, it ran the chair swing yesterday. the only problem is keeping it in place with the overtype design and the vibration.
