Mamod Minor 2 Shows Off.

Just for a bit of fun I wondered what the Minor 2 would make of the mixed trades workshop,13 accessories and an extended lineshaft-

v.109

No trouble at all and it even started to waltz off the table towards the end of the video.Anything the Goliath can do, I can do better exclaimed the Minor.

Now that I did not expect
classixs

Its amazing how the smallest engines pulls monster-loads when gasfired

Neither did I.Why bother with big engines for driving large workshops? Just get a MM. No steam home should be without one.
Swift Fox

Not surprised that it ran the workshop with no problem as the power of the Mamod Minors is well known.
mrborinator

It works, for sure
very nice vid thanks..

It didn't surprise me, in fact I wouldn't be surprised if a MM1 did the same.
Wallace

Very cool video. It came as no suprise to me either as I've managed similar with a MM1. Single cylinder oscillators are very underrated.

Great to see a video where a smaller engine is doing more work. Thanks for posting

Bearing in mind how difficult it is to turn the accessories over by hand via the pulley on the end of the lineshaft I had my doubts. The MM2 managed to drive two different workshops in a previous attempt. However, both of these workshops were smooth runners.

I would laugh if it wasnt for the fact that this is not really laughing materiel. this demonstrate allmost more then anything i have seen what power of steam is. sure it is just toys it pulls, but it take some pulling power to do eatch, here is 15 or so. IMPRESSIVE !!!

Quart in a pint pot springs to mind...a real pocket rocket

Thank you.Feel free to laugh, it kept me amused when I tried it Especially the first attempt, when the flywheel fell off.

Nice! I was very surprised when I got my MM1 to run a stepper generator.

My MM1 could only handle a line shaft and 3 accessories, but I used the original wick burner. Still quite an achievement, it took quite some power to turn the accessories. (Probably due to the tight Wilesco drive bands.)
Sandman

Plenty of power there, and no mistake.
steaminon

That is just plain amazing.

Thank you for the additional comments.Next up will be the MM1 in the near future.
