mamod RivetsIt might sound silly but for the boiler will I be OK to use 3.0 x 6mm Copper Rivets instead of 3.2mm x 7.5mm long Copper Rivets

They might be a bit small. They might be worth a try but be prepared for failure. Why don't you use the proper ones (available from the usual sources)?

If they are too short as well as too thin they might not seal properly. If they had been too long they might swell out to fit the hole.
I am with Roley, be prepared to spend a couple of quid getting the right ones and don't get your face too close.
