Mamod RoadsterHere's a pic of my new Roadster. I got offered this as a private sale and at a very low price. So although I have a couple already I've given it a clean and got a new seat. It's fits well into my Roadster collection and fills in another gap in my mobiles.
So a couple of quick before and after pics.
And now all 5 of my Roadsters. They are from right to left (front to back) SA1 (1976), SA1 (1977 onwards and an earlier logo on front), SA1 (Brass 1983), SA1BT (Brooklands Tourer 1999 onwards) and a SA1K (1984 onwards, this one is very modern with the most recent logo on the front).

You're so right and Mamod have built so many other models off this basic frame. But I'd think one Roadster would be enough for most people. 5 is just a bit sad.

I have got the white roadster, with sightglass in the front, but 6-Spoke Tyres...is that something special?

Its strange... sight glass and older wheels should be two years apart

Hmm..but thats the condition i bouht it...from an old man, who said it was for many years only in his glass case...
Has all the six-spoke wheels, also the 5th wheel...
Strange you say? Maybe then it's worth more

Does anyone know what the box to the brass roadster looks like?

Black window framed box, with white writing if I remember correctly.
Very hard to keep in one piece because of the huge cellophane window.

Thanks for the comments. I paid the right price for it and so I don't mind adding it to my collection. However, my plan for this year still remains to look for different mobiles from around the world as the way to expand my engines.
