mamod roller corrosion

My roller has some corrosion around the safety valve is it a cause for concern

If you don't like the paint chip, strip the paint and polish the boiler.

I'm going to do it to one of my TE's.

He will get a first class paint job, the only downside is he will never be able to run it again.

I think I'm going to take the paint of the engine frame too. It's a shame to have the brass hidden.
