have a look at the price

got the brasso out

You might luck out and the ugly green was applied over the good, it might strip off without damaging the good green. That is the hardest color to match over here, I just hate it when the green part is painted over like that.
madeinenglang

no good green under the paint I might get some green paint ad some white paint to it and see how it go's
Les

It looks better already.
madeinenglang

fire box done

Ive had one of Mitches, he usually paints straight over, so I bet with some cellulose thinners, from Halfords, and Elbow grease you will get the original paint back there.

So far so really good though

What paint did you use on the firebox?
Great progress so far and the black boiler straps look good. Should end up looking a treat.

shouldn't the cranks be 180 degrees from one another?
igy569

Looks great!  Much improved.  I was going to ask the same thing.. I think the cranks should be 180 degrees off from each other.  It will not run like that... at least I don't think it will....
Les

A great improvement, well done.
Stilldrillin

Alf
