Mamod SE3 help!!!!I got a few ideas floating around in my head for a SE3 mod. Im going to do some CAD drawings of it.
I need a bit of help with a few bits and peices.
1. Is the SP5 flywheel bigger than the SE3 flywheel? If so can someone get the measurements?
2. What colour red should i use for the base?
3. What colour green should i use for the engine frame?
Any help is greatly apreciated

Just take the base to Halfords and match the base colour to the nearest red.
You can get it really close.
Just look at this flat base I did.
I had to save the decal so the match had to be perfect.
I masked off the decal for a fair area around it and sprayed it in.
Just look at the result.
You can't see the two paints merge.

I use Ford radient red
As you can see the red varied probably week by week!
If your plan is to buy a new SP5 flywheel then forget it right now, they were bigger but not anymore.

Thanks guys!
I need a SP5 flywheel then Anyone got one?
I was thinking the new SP5 flywheel might be better for what i want as it has a grove in the rim

the sp5 flywheel has no groove in the rim only those new ones which are designed for the dynamo have the groove

Aye thats what im thinking of Lewis!
Would enable higher gear ratio for a dynamo
