Thanks for that. Very interesting stuff. I can certainly see the traits that carried on into the Wilesco line. I wonder why Wilesco did a mirror-image and reversed the orientation of the engines..

Love your videos of those great machines! And the way you underline them with cool music is grand! The Bing verticale seems to be leaking a bit of water from the sight glas ... are you going to let it dribble? It doesn't seem to make any difference to the beautiful machine; to my mind, it even adds more charm ...
I'm not familiar with French makers of steam engines (I'm from Autriche; Wilesco, all the old German companies and English as well as US manufactureres are more known here - I think). I'd like to widen my knowledge (and collection) of makers of steam toys. I remember Jouef and JEP - which other French companies made - or still produce - steam toys?

Yes, Jouef produce toys (Electric train and cars), but not Steam engines
an JEP does not exist any more,
but toy of collection are very expensive
