Marklin Clockwork CraneHi, here's a pic of my crane i built from the old...
It lifted up the roller easily...about 30cm abouve the floor....
Now this one is in pieces again. I'm planing to built something different with the motor....

Those clockwork motors are stronger than I thought 
Did it take you long to assemble the crane? Looks impressive lifting the engine.

Yes, it is very strong, also the gears do the rest 
Oh, yes! It was not easy as the discriptions were very old with not much photos....but If you built it without the crane-turbing-mechanism it will be easier
Note also the boxes in the backgroung, all marklin pre-war meccano's...for sale soon

I love the size of the key on that motor, its massive.
It looks like you have a pretty good collection Marklin parts too.

Oh yes! the boxes you can see + a big box Marklin Nr. 4 and Nr. 1 under the couch + 2 boxes of 1950's marklin parts under the bed...
You see, it's al lieing across my room^^

Thats a very big crane you have. I'm very suprised on how much power those little clockwork motors have. I'm going to have to work on assembling be a crane. Very cool
