Marklin Water Mill

Here's my Jensen 25 powering a Marklin water mill from Mirko ( http://modelsteam.myfreeforum.org/about10341.html )

Looks good!
I noticed the water tension is quite high so the water flows irregurlary...maybe a drip of dish soap could help??

Turn it into a bubble bath

Thanks for the tip about the dish soap.

I had to run the engine at a slow speed. As I got it going faster, it stopped pumping water.

Maybe it develops an airlock.

That's why the electric engine works great for it.

I can turn my variac down, so it makes less steam and runs at a constant, slow speed.

No I do not but it would give it a good clean inside.  

Before you put water in and ran it did you put any oil into the piston/pump??
