Great video guys.
The Garden railway is quite a feat of engineering.
What exact model is Marvin?

So good to see you are back at the Garden Railway after your travels.
I think that one looks like so much fun.

Do not know what it is like in the Southern Hemisphere, but LGB track is like gold dust at present, and is actually going for above previous RRP prices, until more comes out of the new owner's factory.
Whilst it is quite cheap to convert a Mamod/MSS from 32mm to 45mm, just think about all the wagon wheels that you'd need to convert as well - soon mounts up. And I think it is fair to say more 32mm Mamod/MSS stock appears on ebay than the 45mm versions.
I wish they made more dual gauge live steam locos.
Just spotted one advantage of the replacement steel wheels and that is the fact that the crank pins actually stick out beyond the piston rod ends, much better than the Mamod/MSS ones that just reach the end of the piston rod ends and can get stuck there.
Look forward to seeing how many wagons Marvin will now haul with all the upgrades - just make sure you clean the track first as my test loop is swimming in oil & water at present with some interesting wheel spinning.
