May not be here for a whileI may not be logging on for a while as I have to go to Spain for 12 days... work related, not holiday, but I hope there'll be some opportunity to have a look around Madrid. I'm not sure if I'll have any internet access while I'm there, but I'll certainly be on here if I get the chance. So I may be the last one to see Sandy's 101, unless he's still polishing it when I get back.......

I hope so... especially as we cross the Bay of Biscay... seasickness centre of the world. We're going on the ferry as we have to take a van full of equipment with us. So on Thursday I'll either be enjoying a Guiness on a sunny deck, or turning green and retching over the side....

I had one rough crossing in the Bay - it does get a bit rough, mind you I was queasy - it was New Years Day . . . .

The best work related trips I get are a 3hr drive to Sydney in a truck lucky to do 80kph carrying a heavy pump that needs repair in an area where bullet proof vests are recommened

Hola from Madrid. Well, I survived the Bay of Biscay, I saw whales and dolphins... nothing to do with the alchohol, and I managed to drive successfully on the wrong side of the road from Bilbao to Madrid. To cap it all I get free internet access at the hotel. The only fly in the ointment is the prospect of having to do some work on Monday....

Arrived back home yesterday. I'd recommend Madrid and particularly Bilbao as places to visit.... the only things to beware of are the mad drivers. James, its easy to get Guinness in Spain!
