ME1 Marine Engine

I received the ME1 on Friday and decided to give it a test run. It's in beautiful condition almost mint. Any ideas on how old it is? It's got a drain plug and no sight glass so it's got to be pre-80s.



It goes like the clappers and I had to shout on the vid



I now need to find a suitable craft to put it in. Has anyone got any info on suitable models / kits?

Mike, that ME1 sure runns sweetly...could probably propel that cardboard box it's sitting on!!! Looks brand new...congrats on quite a find.

Nice to see one in action, mine is MIB so won't be run. Yours is older than mine as mine has the tablet burner but no sight glass so must be a 1977 model. your's runs very smoothly.
