Ahh the supermodel 10 train.
Best start watching ebay for job lots as that uses a lot of Meccano.
The hard to get bits you can buy from 'The Meccano Man' if you can't find his website PM me and I will give it to you.
Expect to spend a lot to get everything to make it.
My fire truck is only a set 9 model and even though I had 80% of the parts all the hard to get bits still cost me nearly $180 (75 pounds)

just been on meccano mans site for a while pricing up a set 10 from parts, and if you buy a set 10 made to order in green and red, it costs £1250!!!, if you buy it in second quality it costs £699, and if you buy them all individually in second quality, it only costs £417.46 excluding the motor (out of stock) and 1 of part 23 and 1 of part 50 which i cant find on there. so can anyone guess what im saving for now??? lots and lots of meccano to build this:

Told not cheap but they do look good the super models.
I would still watch ebay and buy job lots to save money and sometimes you can get lucky and have rare expensive bits in amongst cheap job lots.

Yeah they are the hard to get second hand in good condition.
I got lucky and got a packet of 6 new for $16 (£6) from my local hobby shop a year or so back.
It was their last packet and had been on the shelf for years.
They are yellow so I've had to strip them before I could use them as I needed red ones but were still a good buy for OZ.
