I got a new engine for the collection. I did not want to buy her first but after close examamination of the pictures in Ebay I was pretty sure that the engine was unfired and it got away cheap to for 31,80€.
As she arrived I found that she really was unfired and near mint condition. Have you ever seen a new bakelite burner tray?
It is an engine from about early to mid 1970s, clearly before 1977 because of the Wilesco sticker without "TÜV".
The first run was a bit difficult and she was somewhat cranky (or bitchy????). See the video
