Minor locomotiveToday I've been to a model railway exhibition in Leeds called 'Narrow Gauge North'. I spotted this Minor 2 conversion which I thought was quite neat. It could be a cheap(ish) way into the world of live steam garden railways:

Well, that certainly is different. Looking at it makes me think a
traction engine might also be a good mod for the Minor 2.

I think Titan (?) made a MM2 tram a while ago, at least I think it was Titan

i have built a MM2 tram from a cheddar models body i had when i went through there scrap bins when they shut down it is presently a bit dodgey but it sort of runs we had to trun a new flywhell on the lathe as the origional minor one wouldnt fit under the body
i saw that minor at the warley model railway exhibition i got talkin to the chap who made it (think he was called chris mackenzie) and spent a while help operate the layout called TIMPDON SHEDS OPEN DAY

I was experimenting, still intend to make one, but the minor I was using has been sold so I need to look for something else - minor2 perhaps?

MM2 would be more suitable! The MM1 isn't very powerful! Might struggle!

i had to gear down my MM2 to get a reasonable amount of power and speed
