i didnt know they made small ones! ive seen the really big ones! they have 4 to 5ft dia flywheels .when they went bang! you heard it 2 km away. no joke thats how i found it at vintage machine show in a park 2km away. it fired on the 20th stoke i believe . bang !.putputputputputputput... bang !..putputputputputput..bang! ..lol

Those miniature hit and miss engines are built by George Luhrs and he almost always shows up at the NAMES show with a bunch of them for display. You never know, he might sell you one. You should go to that show if at all possible and there are usually a few model hit and miss engines for sale. It is April 19-20 in Toledo, OH. There will be hundreds of builders there running their little masterpieces. My wife and I make the 600 mile trip each year. There is a nice hotel right on sight and you don't even walk outside to get from ypour hotel room to the 50,000 sq foot exhibition hall and parking is protected and underneath the hotel and convention center.
