Model pictures ...... of scale models, not of keenly dressed women ... or not at all dressed women, for that matter. No, really, in the other thread I posted some of my old model pix - better to start a whole new thread. Do any of you mates in the forum have nice pix of your models, steam, rail road, plastic models or whatever? Please post here, I'm curious!
Here's a few of mine:
Spitfire Mark 2, and Me 109E, Corgi die cast
Kanonenboot "Wespe", 1/100 scale, scratch made
Panzerschiff "Beowulf", 1/100, scratch made
B29 "Enola Gay", Corgi die cast

I've got quite a few pictures. I used to snap B&W and colour photos with an old SLR in the years before digital. I shall have to scan them.

Exceptionally realistic pictures of your modeling results, Tom.
Those ships are wonderful! I love them! The Enola Gay looks--
it looks in the photo like it's not a model at all. Wow!

I was building an airplane when I lost my Medical, I was about 90% complete and sold it for a small profit ( a rare thing I have been told )
I lost all of my photos in a hard disk crash, but have found several photos of similar ones I believe it was to 7/8 scale and here is a picture of a similar one
Lots of fun and lots of expense.

Tom,
In Greencastle, Indiana USA...(about 40 miles from me)...there is a restored buzz bomb on display on the town square...after sitting there for almost 50 years it was just restored this past year to look like new.
Supposedly it is 1 of only 2 still in existence in the US. More can be read about it here: http://media.www.thedepauw.com/me...z-Bomb.Strikes.Back-2257707.shtml
It sure catches your eye if you cruise into the town of Greencastle!!

I'm an avid railway modeller, who has just taken a dive into modelling 3 foot gauge American railroads. I'll get some pics if I can, my rooms lightings dire.

... I love it! It's a P51 Mustang, isn't it? Cadillac of the skies. Will it use a rubber band drive, or will you use a small engine?

After WWII a lot of captured Enemy Airplanes and such were taken to Seymour Indiana Freeman Field. I assume that is where that one came from Roger.

... super, John, thanks for posting! Is it a Nieuport or a Spad? I was always weary building an r/c plane; with my luck, I'd smash it in no time. Ships were "gemütlicher" for me; didn't manage to sink one accidentally, at least.

... wow, John, Rog, thanky for the link and pix of the Fi103 (V1). To my mind, an elegant looking thing, yet it brought death and devastation to Britain. Scary.
It was actually the first "Cruise Missile".

Nieuport 11, but not Radio Controlled, it was one you sit in and fly. VW engine and all.
