Here are some more engines and models from my collection.
A Bowman- Luton Steam engine with box, intructions and application form for the bowman club. This also has the original envelope to post the form back!!
A vertical Marklin from about 1920 in fully working order
Marklin 4118. This model is under going restoration and dates to about 1919-1921
A bing Vertical from about 1924-1932
The burner features this tin plate picture on the underneath which must show shortage in metal!!
These accessories above were photographed for the shire book ' Toy steam A ccessories by' by Marcus Rooks.

Marklin butter churn on page 23
A Bing wood lathe from about 1905
A Schoener workman from about 1900
A Bing/ Bowman vertical steam engine made about 1930 with the Bowman style cylinder cover.

Wow, I've got a couple of luton Bowmans and one boxed one but I've never seen the instructions or that letter to join the Bowman club before, thats fantastic.
I love the early German accessories too, you just don't find stuff like that in Australia!

This Marklin is for sale in OZ now,

But isn't as sophisticated as yours, the piston oiler is bent, there is no burner and it lacks the water sight glass, the drain cock and the ornate spark arrestor on top of the chimney.

Heyhey..no devaluation on that little marklin on ebay please
It's just a smaller modell, missing just the burner..the rest is original and quite good
