My $37 HausseggerNormally I wouldn't waste my time buying an engine like this but as it only cost me $37 and its only the second one I've ever seen with the Haussegger brand on it I'm quite happy with it.
These are usually sold as Parken engines. I have no idea why they were sold under two different names.
As you can see I need to make a new steam pipe and cylinder and piston but the rest is sound so worth the $37 just for the whistle as these seem to be broken on about %50 of these engines.

You really got a nice engine there.
Will it be getting a repaint?

As much as I want to no because the decal is so rare I don't want to loose in.
In the last 1 1/2 years I've only seen one other with the decal on it and that was just a couple of weeks ago.

I would say it's fine without a re-paint, because there is so much of it left. It's just the one edge that is bare metal.

I may just give that edge a touch of rust remover and an oil

That edge probably won't be as noticeable once you get all of the parts on.

Brill buy Tony and another Oz engine to add to the collection. I like it and yet another job for the new workshop. You are going to be so busy.
