WOW, what a collection! How long has it taken you to aquire that lot? You're not missing many of the stationaries, just the M130 and a couple of Lutons. Fantastic!

Superb collection you have there Les, it would be brilliant if you could bring them all to Amberley Steam Show at the end of the summer.
I have seen some of them first hand but I would love to see them all lined up together.

Totally Brill collection. Their can't be many gaps left to fill. An excellent set of engines and loads of little projects to plan and think about.

Thankyou for you kind comments.
It has taken about two years to collect them all and it all started with the M167.
I have managed to get some 1" brass tube for the chimneys, I have also got the whistle for the M101 and one complete overflow plug and also one with half the threads (the rest are still in the boiler).
I have two 'spare' burners which will probably get cut down to fit the M175 & M180, just need to find some seamed tube for the chimneys.
MF is about to start producing 122 burners and hopefully a 101 burner is in the pipeline, so I have most of the parts, it is just finding time and room to do the repairs.

Short of making one you might struggle. Is it the same size as the ones on the other engines?

September 20 and 21.
Unfortunately the 20th is a milestone birthday for Val, so I won't be there. She'll be 21.
She's looking good for her age, so I'll be focusing my restoration efforts on engines for now.
Great collection Les, really comprehensive.
But it also looks, as I now know from experience, like a lot of work still to be completed. Good luck with thee parts.

Should the base of my M158 be Green? Or did they make some in Red also? I know it was repainted, but am always thinking ahead.

Nice line up there Les, I think Mamodfan does some spares for Bowmans, but not sure what parts. However, doing it yourself will bring a lot of satisfaction too, but unless you are making afew i've found it cheaper to get the parts from MF for one offs.
Cheers

The 175 gear is smaller than the gear on the other Bowmans.

Thankyou,
I am getting the 122 burner off of MF and he has already supplied me with an oiler top. He was thinking of making the oiler taps, I just need to persuade him to.
I was extremely lucky to get two complete oilers off of e-bay a few months ago and they are on the E101 and the M135.
I also managed to acquire a spare Bowman boiler which is already donating the S/V and the overflow plug, and will soon be giving up the steamline for the 175 as well.

I hope he does, whilst I made my own, just using a drill press, files and W & D, it took me nearly two hours to do it. There's a point where satisfaction is outweighed by common sense, .

Thankyou.
So am I but my workbench is full at the moment so no room to do anything until I put up new shelving this weekend.

This is my spare boiler which is kindly donating most of its parts for my other engines.

And the donor burners which need cutting down in height to fit the 175 and 180.

I'll have a go at that then. Need to learn how to use the dividing head on a lathe
