my day at petrie!this was my first public display. i arrived at 9.00am to find i was the only one displaying  i came prepared with my ploughing outfit and my "contractor" and a classic te1a.i thought"i hope someone else turns up" well i had the table to myself  .being a newbie all round at this i prepared to steam up! then then the people started to come in! so it started...... i demonstated the contractor going and the plough being pulled along the table and the engines idling.
highlights of my day!
1) meeting one of this forum newest members 
2) seriously blocking the enterance and near area with people trying to take photos!!(of my megre display! )
3)seeing the flywheel of my te1 fly off the crankshaft!! BUT still the te1 ran for a good 5min without it! till i stopped it. thank goodness this was witnessed by another forum member.!
4) seeing a mother of three dragged back a second time (1hr later) by her children to see my engines again before they went home.
lastly but most importantly to me was a comment by a old guy who has been a member of this shed for years. it was about my steam plough. also this guy wore a VISION IMPAIRED tag.
"ive seen these things on video and this is the first time ive seen it for real ,even tho its in miniture. thankyou for showing this to me before i lose ALL my eyesight"
i intend to show more next steamup hopefully with some help from others. hows this!!!!! the committee who run the shed are going to relocate us and give us a bigger display area!!!!!!
i dont think they liked their enterance being blocked by kids and adults

i said they may have to wait till grahram gets back but i beleive they may contact you about it.
