A little black number for you to drool over ...
Are these rare 'cos I've never seen any Ernst Plank stuff on the forum.
Cheers

Thats a very nice Ernst plank line shaft. I too find it difficult to find models by Ernst plank for my collection but I found one. This is a Plank drop hammer from 1920 which was photographed for the shire book 'toy steam accessories'

They seem to be well built, heavy enough to stand the tests of time.

I've only got a couple of Plank bits and I'm still waiting to see a good mobile I can afford. Anyway, here are my tools. I think one of the reasons we don't see so many is that once the small name plates have broken off, it's difficult to know where tools came from and so they just get given a 'Bing' tag .

Found the EP line shaft behind some Mamod line shafts ... build quality and 'feel' of the EP was totally different to the Mamod ones. Couldn't resist.
