My S.T.I.A. CyldonI purchased this at the STIA. When the dealer pulled it from the box, I nearly bit his hand off.
I gave him his £65.00 and didn't even haggle.
It's a Cyldon 13-2 Semi Rotative Valve.
I've been after one of these for a while, and this one will clean up beautifully.

I think 65 was a good price from a dealer, well done.

£65 sounds very fair.

Very good Sandy! I see that JC has just sold his on eBay for a similar price, so it must be about right. I had thought it would go for more.

Oooh...thats very nice and interesting!
I like the special steam valve it has! Never seen on another engine before!
I have to watch out for this engine! Very nice!
One question: i heard the firebox is also made of aluminium...
So is it very soft, so you have to be carefull not to bend it by mistake...?

Your new engine has intrigued a lot of people here, myself included!
Looking forward to the next chapter, and a tutorial about the valve action.
Brilliant, handsome, stocky engine!
