I especially like the matte finish on the fireboxes, is that something you've done, or did they come like that? It looks very industrial.

ive done that mate dont think its the right stuff its VHT car enginr paint but its ment to be gloss

I like it better that way. I might do the firebox on my next traction engine with that stuff.

My heat paint on my boiler came out dull after cooking in the oven...
Quick wipe with a cloth removed the dust and revealed a "ceramic" type shine and finish that was almost like a shell of sorts....
It was ceramic containing paint...for engines.
