Ask Tony.

It is in the Software James, there are programs that do that. I think one came with the photo editing software I have, but to be honest I havent tried it too much. Tony is probably the best one to ask. Or Google for Animation Creation Software

Basically, you combine the two into an animated GIF format. You can have more than two if you like so that it ends up like a mini video clip. Some picture editing packages will do it - not mine, unfortunately (Paint Shop Pro). I don't know about the more common Photoshop. Alternatively, I suppose you could insert some Java code in the HTML to do it.

Thanks Roly, but I haven't a clue what you just spoke about
When it comes to computers, I'm very limited

I just realised you must know all about animated GIFs because your flag is one

I have Paint shop Pro 7 ( and later versions that I dont like as much ) and Animation Shop came with it.
I have used it to grap one frame from an animated gif. I never really tried to make any but know that all of the pictures have to be the same size.

I use Paint Shop Pro 6 too (nine years old now!), it came free on a cover disk with a magazine. That contains anim.exe in the same directory that lets you make animated gif files.
But for the animated flag I had to use a Photoshop plugin that I found on the internet.

I have PSP 7 but I don't remember seeing the animator. Maybe that was an option I didn't install. I'll have to dig out the original instalation disk if I can find it.

This is the program I used for EOTM as I had removed a lot of my software of my PC and couldn't be bothered finding the disks so got this little free software for doing animated gifs.
Its very basic but the price is right.
Here it is in a zip file without the help files.
Click to download file
It is free were.
See the wiki here

Thanks for posting that Tony. It looks a usefull little program and, as you say, the price is right
I found the PSP Animator but this looks simpler and good enough for most purposes.
