New AdditionsI have just added a few little beauties to my collection,but I am going to drip feed you with them (its my cruel streak coming out!) This litle engine needs a good clean up and a pint of oil and she will be as good as new ! I dont know what make it is, it looks too well made to be a home made engine, and while it looks a little bit like a stuart, it has no markings. Anyone got any ideas what it is?

It does look like a Stuart...sort of. May be a homebuilt from plans by any number of makers.
Clean it up, oil it up and lets here how she runs...video too if possible!

How big is it Pat?
It's difficult to judge from photos.
Looks interesting, should clean up well.

I think one offs are something special I have two Stuarts and one scratch built marine that is less powerful and not aw well engineered but I think still my favorite large because I could replace the Stuarts but never the scratch built

Its 120mm high and the base is roughly 70mm square. I guess it is home made, but it is really well made. Unfortunately, it will be a few weeks at least till i get around to cleaning it up, as i am trying to finish off my "first" restoration which is a lot more work than i first thought.
Here is another model I have, Its a little Marklin Grinder . Has anyone any idea of the model number ? or the year , I cant find it on the internet.
