wonderful collection. I think you moved house to find room to store them all

Can I tempt you into selling one of the wick burners? Have been after one for so long. I know the answer will be no, but you can't blame me for asking when you have such a tempting array lined up
Graham-Jilly

Thanks stich if I find a spare one Ill let you know

Let me know how the gas burner turns out when you get it fixed. The only opinion I have heard from them is from MM who doesn't like them.

I have bid on a few SL1ks on the basis of being able to take them apart nice and easily to fiddle with. They always seem to go for too much money though. Keeping an eye out on ebay uk, but I tend not to look at other sites. I did bid on one from the US I think but someone beat me.

Wow, some very nice engines there

You got all those recently??
flywheel61

Some great engines there, I particularly like the flat bases which should come up well. Also interesting to see the three solid fuel burner Jensens together. Lots of cleaning & polishing to do and this is the weather for it.

Cheers

Nice additions to the collection! Most need a good clean up and they'll be great

As for the gas burner that would be going on ebay or in the bin
Graham-Jilly

where does it leak from?

Gas and a soft soldered boiler isn't the best idea anyway really
Graham-Jilly

it leaks from the gas filler valve tried to fill it up from a gas can but just leaked back out not safe
Wallace

I have no idea of the size of the valve, but maybe try a gas supply place, or BBQ/camping type store.

May find a new valve for it?

MAybe
Chris

forest classics sell a range of different gas tanks, and PPS also sell gas tanks. Maybe they would be able to help you out with a spare part, if not you could just replace the gas tank.

I'm just keen to get another opinion on gas burners without paying out myself.
