New big project 'Project'I've just won myself a new project and buy that I mean a guage one 'Project' locomotive mostly built.
I have all the plans to build this and this gets most of the hard stuff out of the way.
At this price I couldn't resist as the boiler alone usually costs 130 pounds.
Hopefully all the parts are in usable condition.
I will get it shipped to my mother in laws house and get her to bring it out with her.

Nice one tmuir, a member of the CDSME has a Project loco and regularly runs it on open days. Would you like me to ask him any questions you might have?

I think the questions I will be asking soon will be. 'Who can machine me the last parts I will need?'
I wont be getting it for 4 or 5 weeks so no rush

I'll be finishing it as the front cover of the book as I'm not good enough to try and freelance it.

I do hope so and I dearly hope the boiler is fine as thats one part I wouldn't even attempt to make and a new boiler will set me back 120 to 140 pounds.

You are buying a new boiler?

I believe his is now in bits If I were to build one (which I might do...) I'd build it as a LB&SCR C2X
