I just cant wait, I am sure that mine will be here in a day or two, thanks so much for posting this, the breakdown and explanation are great. I can see several modifications that might be possible to improve on it too, will have to wait and see I guess.

I thought you would be pleased to see that John

I bet they come out with a better gas line soon too, pre assembled I mean, I was so curious as to what the burner was like, I see several ways to change the exhaust, that will be an early project I bet.

drill an 'ole through the boiler and solder a length of tube in there so the steam comes out the right place!

Why not make a "saddle to fit over the front part of the boiler? Or, I am thinking of routing it out the sides, between the wheel and the Piston. Cylinder cocks open like.

Brilliant documentation about the locomotive.
Looks like a great runner too!

Great video. Would be nice to see it running a little slower though.

A very informative video. I do miss Chris's expertise. He played a significant role in the design of the VI Garden Railway.
Wonder if the Steam Dome is actually functional as a super heater?
The loco seems to run at far greater speeds without dis-railing on the sharp bends.
