Another welcome to the forums from OZ, yes there are a few women, but more would be welcome. Another woman I haven't seen on here for awhile is steamgirl, hmm.
It's a great forum, and I've learned heaps, as I'm sure you will too.
Cheers

Welcome from Indiana USA!
Ignore the pics on Dauntless's signature line, I think they must be ex girlfriends who have dumped him
Nice to have another lady onboard, we need ya to keep us on the straight and narrow.
cheers,

G'day
The only things required here are enthusiasm, and a bit of community spirit.
Everyone starts at the beginning.
Where they end up can be interesting

I could be wrong but I think there's a picture of you both on Atticman's STIA thread.
As so ably demonstrated in Alicia's empathetic and insightful postings, the female perspective is a huge asset to the forum.
I, for one, would like to see a lot more of the same.

Crazy bunch of people here around ! But I like them, they are as steam crazy as myself !
As mentioned before the eyes of a lady see sometimes other aspects on a thing than male did and as this forum is open for any opinion in the steam world you are very welcome to show us the female sight of steam!
But you are not allone : Steamgranny (ALICIA ) and Jilly (JILLY) are with you ! Enough with this stuff ! from bitter cold Northern Germany
cheers JOE

You might have noticed me at STIA- I was the rather large bloke with the Caravel on me head... I had my head in the water out back at the boat tank for a while during the snow............ nice avatar with 'tude !
One day I hope to make it to the UK and actually meet the crew here- until then...it is through pixels and megahertz....
Welcome( from Oregon)...... What made steam an interest? a past encounter or was this a new discovery?

Hello Mamodwoman & very nice to have a few more female members around Don't know what the chaps really think about us invading their space but they've apparantly taken it very well so far, or else they are being hugely polite
Happy steaming & a big
