I saw that one too Roly...... my mouth watered ..... for someone on the site to have it!!!
I guess I am going to have to break it to my family that we have to move to the UK so I can pursue these boats in earnest.. .the Atlantic is getting in the way of my new hobby!!

Greg, have you considered all the boating delights that Cardiff can offer??

I bet Moose would love a good strong cup of Coffee and a sailing Mate.

Yes to both! I'm half Italian, I make a mean espresso!
Here's your first Welsh lesson:
Cup of coffee = Paned o goffi
Now that wasn't hard, was it?

Black coffe, no sugar (cos I'm sweet enough !) That's how I like it
Come live in Lincolnshire, Mo!!

Well, if it's espresso I guess it would be Coffi Ddu!
|

Espresso- doppio- in a hot small espresso cup. No sugar, syrups or milk- 1.5 ounces of black gold that just keeps on giving!!

Oh yes indeedy - Lavazza Rosso for normal, and Illy if I feel I deserve a treat.....made with this:
Is it just me, or are we drifting just a wee bit off course?

Well, I have always thought that espresso makers are very close relatives of steam engines.....boilers, pressure gauges, burned fingers.....
I see you take your coffee seriously Greg - have you been to Italy? If not, I'll bring you back something tasty this summer.

Ahh yes, I love it there. Thank you for the offer..
I am spoiled beyond reason. Like most of my "hobby" interests - I get into the deep end of the pool... I roast my own green coffee beans- nothing goes in those old espresso machines that is older roast than 3-7 days...
I did a small visit to Scotland... I love Single malt.. so ebay yielded me a still.. been making my own single malt for 5 years now..... heavy peat smoked .. not quite Ardbeg but more Laphroaig... it makes cold damp winters a thing to look forward to..

MMMM Single Malt
I usually go in over the deep end when I get involved in a hobby. However I have a feeling that this one will be a long term hobby.
I do not know if this makes sense or not, but it isnt worth it if one has to mess withe the minimum and the worse stuff, One nice Steam Engine is better than a Dozen junkers
