Nick's Website

I have finally started my own website.

http://www.freewebs.com/nicksteam/

This website will be a place where I can post pictures of my collection of both engines & accessories.

I will add pictures as I clean/restore these items.

I chose the outdoor background because I enjoy the outdoors and fishing is my favorite hobby.

I hope to keep adding, so check back often.

Also, if you click the "www" icon at the bottom of my posts, it should take you to my website.

Thanks!

I like the lake theme too, and it fits the theme of the state I am from; "Minnesota, the Land of 10,000 Lakes." Unfortunately I live in the only county of the 87 in MN that doesn't have a lake.

Great start Nick!

Where's the Jensen page

I think Nick has a lot of Photographing in the near future.  It can be fun to keep a page up and as my Insurance agent told me it is good to have a record of what you have kept someplace other than at home. I will add a link this weekend.

They all need to be cleaned before I can get some pictures.
Nick

A lot of my accessories just need to be dusted off, so I'm taking lots of pictures, which will soon be added to my site.

I've added lots of Wilesco accessories:

And I have also added three more accessory pages: Marx, Mamod, & Marklin.

Edit: Now added SEL & Jensen
Nick

How do I add a link of this forum to my site with the forum logo?

THat is a fine reference page for all things HTML the man has done a service to all who are too lazy to learn all of that stuff.

Hats off to Cedge.
Put a < before it and a > after it and this is the code to insert between < and >

IMG BORDER="0" WIDTH="320" HEIGHT="237" SRC="http://modelsteam.myfreeforum.org/templates/myff_modelsteam1/images/masterdecalcopy.jpg"

On the Freewebs site you click on the icon to enter custom HTML

I still can't figure it out. I got the image to appear, but nothing happens when I click on it.

I figured it out.

Was it the < and > ? Not that hard but confusing if never done before. The Custom HTML link on the Freewebs editing page is also easily overlooked.
James

Great site Nick!!
IndianaRog

Nick, pretty good stuff for a first shot.  Websites can become sort of fun as you learn new stuff.  Freewebs really makes it easy with all their templates.   I once used HTML, but quickly learned there was an easier way and Freewebs makes it happen without having to learn much of anything...it works very much like Microsoft Word.

cheers,
Rog
