No 60009 Union of South AfricaJust gone past my house going into Cleethorpes.
No 60009 Union of South Africa, a 4-6-2 loco designed by Sir Nigel Gresley in the 1930s, will be hauling a special train packed with Scunthorpe Telegraph and Target readers, on their way to Durham and Newcastle-Upon-Tyne.The loco will depart Cleethorpes at 7.45am, picking up passengers at Grimsby Town (7.55am), Barnetby (8.20am), Scunthorpe (8.44am) and Crowle (9am).
